Life at Sulam
Being a Sulam student means being fully part of school life.
Our students participate in classrooms, field trips, extracurricular activities, athletics, celebrations, and traditions alongside their peers.
They form friendships, build community, and create memories that last a lifetime.
If you ask our students where they go to school, they typically don't say Sulam.
They say Berman or JDS. Because belonging matters.
Where Every Student Belongs
School is about more than academics it's about friendships, experiences, and feeling like you belong. At New Sulam, students are active members of their school community, learning, growing, and celebrating alongside their peers every day.
More Than a Program—A Community
Ask our students where they go to school, and you'll hear the name of their school—not the support program they attend. That's because they see themselves as full members of their school community.
At Sulam, belonging isn't something students earn, it's something they experience every day.
“Our child finally feels like they truly belong. They come home excited to share stories about friends, classes, and everything they experienced that day.
