Sulam at Yeshiva of Greater Washington Boys Division

Grades 7-12

Starting in the fall of 2011, Sulam opened a new program at the Yeshiva of Greater Washington Boys Division. Participants in this program are full time Yeshiva students who receive academic support during a study strategies period from a Sulam special educator. The Sulam class combines strategies instruction with homework tutorial and meets four days a week. An important aspect of Sulam classes is that the teacher-student ratio is intentionally kept low.

Additionally, Yeshiva students have the option to sign up for educational coordination. The educational coordinator communicates often with all the student’s teachers and with parents.

If you are interested in learning more about Sulam services at the Yeshiva Boys program, please contact Mrs. Rachel Sushner, Sulam Director of Special Education through the Sulam business office at 301-962-9400 x5523 or contact Mr. Matthew Ratz, Boys Yeshiva Learning Specialist at 301-649-7077.

The Yeshiva of Greater Washington Boys Division is located at 1216 Arcola Avenue in Silver Spring, Maryland.
